X-Men: Apocalypse will bring back Angel

Brian Singer director of X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: Days of Future Past which came out last year fixing many problems of previous films such as X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X-Men: The Last Stand, uploaded some production art of his upcoming movie, this time featuring Angel. Apparently, Apocalypse will keep to fix events that happened in The Last Stand, now it’s Angel’s turn to shine in the good way since he wasn’t very good in the third installment of the X-Men series.

The upcoming X-Men film takes place in the 1980’s and there’s already many confirmed characters like Jubilee, Cyclops, Storm and Jean Grey. Rumors claim that Psylocke will pop-up in the movie. I’m a bit turned off by the fact that some 90’s characters are being shoehorned into the wrong decade, but we’ll see how Singer is going to manage that when the final product is in theatres.

I’m one of the many people who liked X-2 and loved Days of Future Past, but I didn’t like the rest. I’m not sure if Singer will use the character properly, he seems to understand the X-Men now. I would’ve liked to see more Angel before this, I mean, he is definitely getting razor wings from Apocalypse. That’s his only well known story and adapting it here is a no brainer.

However, the art looks pretty good, I’m intrigued by that scene. Is it actually in the movie? Or is it just concept art that may be unused?
