Some minor spoilers from Avengers: Age of Ultron follow.

You have been warned.

Seriously.

Let’s go, you clicked on it and still reading…

Like we reported some time ago, Captain Marvel is in the screenplay of Avengers: Age of Ultron, one the most anticipated movies of 2015. Marvel Studios announced their Phase Three, and one of the characters that will be introduced into the mainstream superhero world will be Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel.

The cast will return in January to shoot more action scenes, but since Captain Marvel is in the screenplay, they can film her cameo. Joss Whedon an his team will be in Pinewood recording these new scenes.

James Gunn, the director who brought us an amazing adaptation of the Guardians of the Galaxy and the man that is currently working on the script for the sequel recently wrote in his Facebook page that no Danvers will show up in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Gunn wants Star-Lord as the only Earther in these movies, so Captain Marvel will not be introduced in that movie.

In the Age of Ultron script, Carol Danvers has a quick cameo at the ending of the film. It’s been widely reported by many sites that by the end of the movie Captain America will assemble a new team of heroes to keep the Avengers. This is a very smart way to introduce this new character to the audiences. Captain Marvel is definetly not a very well-known hero for the mainstream audiences and a blockbuster like Avengers: Age of Ultron is the right place to put this character in. Let’s cross our fingers and expect to see her cameo at end of the movie.
